- Hi and welcome to episode three of Ask Paul. Today I'm gonna briefly discuss your options around where to get mortgage advice. You can go to a mortgage broker or you can directly to the bank. Going into the bank you're only going to get the advice of the bank obviously on their products or their mortgage. So, go into AIB, you're going to get AIB mortgage. When you go to a mortgage broker wherever you're gonna get a awful lot of advice around all the different lenders that are in the marketplace. And the mortgage broker will obviously try and get the best mortgage for you and possibly a cheaper alternative. So I’d always recommend going to a mortgage broker. Again, as discussed in our second episode do your homework first and have a little bit of your accounts done, et cetera, and make sure you made the mortgage broker's job as easy as possible and give you the best option at getting the mortgage through and getting your loan approval. I want you to touch base with us in January and we're gonna through the new mortgage rates. I think there's gonna be a few more mortgage rate changes come January. The reason being is first time buyers legislation changes from the central bank from the first of January. So, click back in and we'll have a good review of what's going on from all the different lenders to try and give you more of a heads-up before you actually go to the mortgage broker. In the meantime, don't forget to subscribe to YouTube, like our Facebook, and follow us on Twitter. Thank you.
